Dory came to our attention via the pound pullers with a PTS order against her name. She’s not sick. She’s not injured. She’s not elderly. She was simply abandoned, alone, with nobody left to advocate for her.
Dory is an 18-month old Dobie x Collie, due to her age she hasn’t yet been spayed but will come with a neutering clause in her contract.
As you’d expect from a Collie x Dobermann, Dory has all those classic Dobie traits mixed with a strong desire to work, stay mentally stimulated and burn off plenty of energy. She LOVES a ball. She’s learning her basic commands.
She’s understandably worried by people and who can blame her? Humans have let her down badly but we are working hard to build her confidence and in time will look for the most suitable home for her – for now she is under assessment.
