Say hello to Sasha, a beautiful 4-year-old Black and Tan Dobermann who’s come into our care through absolutely no fault of her own; a loving surrender due to a change in family circumstances.
Sasha is a petite, neutered female with a soft heart and a love of comfort, her favourite bedtime routine is snuggling up under some blankets! She’s lived happily alongside children and other dogs (including Dachshunds and Cavaliers), so she may enjoy a calm, friendly canine companion in her new home.
Sasha can be left for a few hours with the radio on to keep her company, and she responds well to her name. She’s affectionate and eager to please, though she hasn’t quite mastered that paws belong on the floor, something her new family can gently continue to work on.
While Sasha hasn’t had a consistent exercise routine recently, she’s full of potential. She can be strong on the lead at times, but with regular walks, structure, and positive reinforcement training, she’ll soon find her stride.
Dogs: Has lived with small, friendly dogs and could potentially live with another well-matched dog.
Cats & small furries: Due to a high prey drive, Sasha cannot live with cats, rabbits, birds, or small animals.
Children: Has lived with children previously; sensible, dog-savvy kids would suit her best.
Sasha will thrive in a home that can offer consistency, affection, and ongoing training — as well as cosy blankets for bedtime cuddles!
If you think you could offer Sasha the loving, stable home she deserves, please complete an application so that we can Homecheck in order to be considered.
