Reggie has spent most of his life in very confined spaces – including a garage until he came into our care – he’s 4 years old so he’s not had the best of starts. We were asked by a family would we take him if they could persuade the owner to surrender him to us, well done that family. He’s been with us now since February and he’s had time to decompress, learn about open spaces, meet other dogs and most importantly, meet humans who will play with him and allow him to be a happy dog. He has a medical issue which he manages very well, the consensus is that at this time, no surgical intervention is required. When Reggie first arrived he was nervous – a huge change for him to be outdoors and playing; he’s not nervous anymore and loves his trips camping with one of our awesome volunteers, having sleepovers and going out to play at Dovecote Reservoir.
Reggie is now ready to find his forever home, his new humans don’t need to have any concerns about his veterinary costs going forward at Lincs will cover them all – we take Rescue Back Up very seriously.
Reggie can live with older children; he can also live with a female dog.
Reggie Brown is a very special boy and he needs to find his very special family so he can continue to flourish and enjoy his life of freedom.
