Millie has come into Rescue as the former owner had no time for her due to changed commitments. As a result of the lack of time spent with her, she’s on the tubby side and her new family will need to ensure that she has plenty of exercise and is on a strict diet. She has been assessed in the home and also by a trainer – both assessments agree that she is a nice dog who is fun to be around. Millie can display a low level frustration around some dogs however, that can be eliminated by building engagement through training and play which will help her to build neutrality around other dogs. Millie already shows signs of wanting to engage and play, she should be easy to train.
Quote from the kennels “She really is ace, she just wants to be everyone’s friend, only met her this morning yet she was so affectionate right away but still will do her own thing”.
Millie’s ideal home will be in an active family who will spend time working with her to give her the life she deserves. She will only be rehomed with older children 12+.
A potential Adopter will be provided with a copy of both assessments.
