Maverick came to us from the pound, he went straight into short term foster with another dog so we have learned a little about his behaviour in the home. He is currently in kennels stealing the hearts of everyone he comes into contact with. He a really sweet little dog, very affectionate and loves to be made a fuss of. He will wait until told that he can have his meals and will also offer a paw. There is no evidence of resource guarding. A crate was used when he was in Foster and he was fine being left and at night. Like many Dobies, unless corrected, he will try to counter surf. He’s strong on lead to this will require ongoing training and effort from his new family.
Maverick is looking for a home where the family will give him the time and effort he deserves to help him become the fabulous dog he promises to be.
