Darwin (was Brodie Brown) – Adoption Pending

Brodie is a 4-year-old brown male Dobermann who came to us as a pound pull. As with many dogs that arrive this way, very little was known about his past, so he has spent some time in kennels while we got to know him better.
Brodie has actually been very content in kennels, but now it’s his time to shine.
When it comes to training, Brodie is a little… well… clueless. He doesn’t appear to have had much guidance in the past, but he responds well to someone who can give clear and consistent direction. One thing we can say for certain though, Brodie Brown is a machine! He’s a solid, powerful lad and very much built like a tank.
We have been waiting for a place with a residential trainer, and in March Brodie will be heading off to start his training journey.
So now we’re beginning the search for a very special adopter who is willing to work alongside us and the trainer. The hope is that when Brodie completes his training, his adopter will be there ready and waiting on the other side of the gate to take him home and continue everything he has learned, with the full support of the Lincs Dobermann Rescue Rehoming Team.
Brodie just needs someone to believe in him and make that commitment to his future.
Because Brodie came to us via the pound and his history is unknown/unverified:
We are told he may have lived with a cat previously, however we cannot verify how successful this was and would therefore recommend a cat-free home
He cannot live with children
We will know more about his interactions with other dogs once he begins residential training, but due to his unknown past and training needs going forward we feel it is best he is rehomed as the only dog in the home
We’ve started to have a few conversations and put some feelers out, but if you think you might have what it takes to give Brodie the chance he deserves, we would love to hear from you via an Adoption Application or you can email us at admin@lincsdobermannrescue.com
