Digger came to us because his owner is regularly hospitalised and so can’t meet his needs. He only had Digger for 5 months, along with Sadie (also available for adoption) after getting both dogs from the same home having answered an internet post; he didn’t get any history with the dogs.
- People: friendly – likes a lean in, a big softy / has been around children, one of which was 4yrs old
- Other dogs: he lived with another Dobie (bitch) / can be reactive on lead sometimes / polite around Cora (neutered Dalmatian), she told him off and he moved away / off lead – unknown
- Travels well in the car
- House trained
- Can be left home alone
- Crate trained: slept though the first night with no issue – not keen on getting in but once in settles nicely
- Cats: untested
- Special feature: takes food nicely from the hand
Check out his album on our Facebook page ‘Dobies at Lincs Dobermann Rescue’ for more photos and some videos. He is currently in foster care and living with Cora (neutered Dalmatian)
