Claude – around 2 years – Adopted

Claude came into our care in the middle of October, he was found as a stray and his time was up until we stepped in. We knew very little about him other than the fact that he was terrified of his own shadow. He’s been under assessment since he arrived and recently went into foster so that the assessment could be completed in a home. He has blossomed into a lovely lad and has really started to come out of his shell. He currently lives with older children – he will not be rehomed with children under 12 as he needs a calm environment to allow him to develop further. He has been very clean in the home and settles really well at night although he does seem to want to play in the early hours!! His Ideal home would be where someone is around most of the day, preferably in a quiet location. Claude needs someone who is pretty laid back and who has the patience to work with him at his pace. Although he has met and been fine with other dogs, Claude needs the benefit of one to one interaction until he feels properly secure and confident in his environment. His in home assessment is continuing in his foster home but he is now ready to find his new home, the assessment will be provided to his potential Adopter prior to his Meet & Greet.
