Brodie Black – Adoption Confirmed

Meet Brodie – 10 Months Old
Brodie is a big, bouncy 10-month-old boy who is coming to Lincs due to a no-fault-of-his-own surrender. Sadly, his owners’ change in working arrangements means he would be left alone for long hours, and at his young age they feel that simply isn’t fair on him.
This handsome lad really does tick a lot of boxes and, with ongoing training and guidance, is going to make someone a superb companion.
Brodie currently lives happily with a 12-year-old child and has shown himself to be a gentle big puppy at heart. However, due to his size and excitable, energetic nature, we would not rehome him with very young children. He has no aggression whatsoever ust lots of youthful enthusiasm and not much awareness of his own size!
He is:
Vaccinations up to date
No known medical issues
Crate trained
Able to be left for up to 3 hours
Will sit and wait for his food, taking it only on command
A lover of his blanket and toys

Brodie is entire due to his age and will be rehomed with a neutering contract.
When it comes to other dogs, Brodie is very keen to mix and socialise. He’s desperate to play and rush over to make friends, very typical young dog behaviour! He will need a confident, capable handler who can help him learn polite introductions and continue his training in a controlled way. On the lead he is currently chaotic and strong, so ongoing lead training is essential. We’re looking for someone committed to continuing his education and helping him grow into the well-mannered adult we know he can be.
🚫 No cats, as he will chase.
Brodie is an excitable puppy who will jump up and rush about when he’s happy, but he does settle. He’s a fun, affectionate, energetic youngster who simply needs time, structure, and an active home willing to invest in him.
If you’re looking for a lively, loving companion and are ready to guide a big puppy into his best self, Brodie could be your perfect match and we’d love to hear from you.
