Meet Blue
As her name suggests, Blue is a beautiful blue Dobermann with a loving nature and a heart as big as her personality. She has come into our care through absolutely no fault of her own. Her owner, who has loved her since she was a puppy, has sadly developed a medical condition and can no longer give her the time and attention she deserves. With great love and selflessness, they have entrusted Blue to Lincs in the hope she will find the perfect new home.

Age: 4 years
Sex: Female
Status: Entire; she will come with a neutering contract to ensure she goes to a genuine, responsible home.
Health: Blue had Demodicosis as a pup, which is well managed with anti-parasite medication. All medical history will be shared with successful applicants.
In the Home
Blue is fully house-trained, clean, and has never been destructive. She previously had a crate, though she rarely used it and it was never shut.
She can be left alone for a few hours without worry.
She is extremely affectionate and a true social butterfly; she loves fuss and attention both inside and outside the home. Visitors will be greeted very enthusiastically, so her new family will need to continue helping her learn calmer greetings.
She has been very polite around visiting grandchildren (aged 9), but she has never lived with children full-time, so any introductions should be thoughtful and steady.
Exercise & Training
Due to her owner’s recent ill health, walks have been less frequent than usual, so Blue is delighted to be out and about again. She loves her walks and loves to play ball.
Blue can become distracted off-lead, so access to a secure field is the safest option for her off-lead fun.
Other Animals
Dogs: Blue has had limited exposure to dogs outside her home, other than one canine companion she got along well with.
Cats: No cats, she will chase.
Horses: She has been used to calmly passing horses on lead with no issues.
