Beau is a stunning 1-year-old Dobermann who is coming into Lincs’ care after being surrendered by a loving family that rescued her from a very desperate situation. They have cared for her, nurtured her, and helped her take her first steps toward stability, and have now entrusted her to us to ensure she has the safest and most secure path forward.
Originally imported from Bulgaria, Beau has been fully tested and is clear for Brucella Canis.
Beau currently lives with another dog and, being a young girl, she can sometimes be a little over-enthusiastic in her play. She’s still very much a baby and is learning how to socialise more calmly. With continued guidance and positive training, Beau will continue to grow into a well-rounded, sociable companion.
She hasn’t lived with cats or small furries, and as we’re unable to safely test her, we feel it’s best to assume that such a home wouldn’t be suitable at this time.
Beau can be left for a couple of hours without issue and currently lives with children, with whom she has a wonderful and affectionate relationship.
On the lead, Beau can be a bit strong and tends to pull, but she is incredibly trainable, eager to please, and we’re confident this is something that can be improved with consistency and patience.
Beau is a loving, energetic, intelligent young Dobermann ready to start the next chapter of her life. She will thrive in a home committed to ongoing training, structure, and plenty of affection.
