Say hello to Grylls, a stunning black and tan Dobermann who has found himself in rescue through no fault of his own. His family’s work commitments are taking them abroad, and with heavy hearts they’ve asked us to help him find the loving home he deserves.
About Grylls
At 5 years old, Grylls is the perfect mix of energy, companionship, and maturity. He will be newly neutered on arrival with us and is ready to begin the next chapter of his life.
Home Requirements
While Grylls currently lives with another dog, he can be vocal and show frustration on-lead when he sees other dogs. Because of this, we feel he will thrive best as the only dog in the home.
He cannot live with cats or small furries, as they are just a bit too exciting for him!
Training & Exercise
Grylls is a strong lad on the lead and will pull toward dogs or other animals if he spots them. He’ll need an owner committed to ongoing training, especially around making positive canine friendships and improving his focus out and about. With the right guidance, he has so much potential.
Children & Leaving Hours
Grylls has been in a busy home where young children visit daily, so a home with older, dog-savvy, respectful kids would be suitable, no little one’s sorry as Grylls sometimes jumps up.
He can also be left for a few hours while you pop out, and he’s fully crate trained, which offers him a safe, comfortable space of his own.
If you’d like to be considered for Grylls you will need to make an application via our website so that we can carry out the necessary checks.
