Red – 3 years – Adopted

Red is a fabulous boy who has come into our care from a great home where sadly the circumstances have changed. The decision to rehome him hasn’t been taken lightly but in Red’s best interests. He is very friendly, has lots of personality and a great temperament, he is good with other dogs and horses though he can be very full on and want to play pretty much all the time. The owner has invested a lot of time into setting boundaries and structure, and this will have to be continued in his new home. Red is crate trained and will relax in his crate. He will sit and wait for food until told he can have it; he has never displayed any resource guarding tendencies either with food or toys. Red is walked on a figure of eight lead – he is a big strong boy but will walk happily on this and sit at the curb side and wait to cross the road. He is currently entire; castration will be a condition of the Adoption Agreement. Although Red is good with other dogs, the recommendation is that he is rehomed as an only dog.
More photos and information are on our Rehoming Group – Dobies at Lincs Dobermann Rescue.
If you haven’t completed an Adoption Application, you will not be matched with a dog in our care.
